Trauma Informed Photography

The experience of trauma has widespread impact on our lives and the lives of our clients.  Because boudoir photography requires people to be incredibly vulnerable, it has potential to bring up past traumas as well as current trauma.   

Niki has been a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner since 2008.  She has received hundreds and hundreds of training hours specifically dealing with trauma.  She has performed hundreds of Sexual Assault Examinations and has REAL LIFE experience in how to meet people where they are at in their most vulnerable moment, creating a safe environment for all individuals.  She is qualified as an expert in Federal, Circuit, and District Court.   

Niki has a deep understanding of the effects of sexual, interpersonal and emotional abuse and trauma.  If this is something you have experienced, or are experiencing at the time of your session, you are in good hands.
